27 October 09 - 19:16New stuff & Neo Geo Cabinet

Lots of new games in this week, mostly older titles: Gamecube/PS2/Xbox/SNES/N64/Gameboy, etc.

Also, we got a Neo Geo Cabinet in the store for a while, come & give it a go ($0.25).

One last thing... It looks like filming for season 2 of the webseries may be delayed. We'll keep you posted as we get more info.
UPDATE: Filming is officially on hiatus... we're hoping for January but nothing is scheduled at this point.

Added:
- Pile of NES games.
- Pile of Dreamcast games.
- Pile of Sega CD games
- Pile of Sega Saturn games
- Light guns for Dreamcast/Xbox/PS1/PS2 (with Time Crisis games in boxes)
- Random games all over the place.

Other notes:
- We've finally come up with a new Gamedeals T-shirt design. It'll be black (which a lot of you requested) and available hopefully very soon. The "True Gamer" shirts are almost completely sold out (still have Women's sizes and Mens XXL left) and WILL NOT be reprinted ever again (not cause they weren't awesome, they were, but now they're limited edition, only 100 made).

- I'm making a big pile of old-school games for the online store, I'll add them all at once when this collection is done being sorted.

- Small updates/changes to our website & online store inc. new shipping prices for Americans (Canada Post is fucking expensive).

13 October 09 - 00:21Some updates...

Online store it turns out is a huge success. Thanks to all of our new customers across North America. I added a bunch of stuff this afternoon to the online store, but I won't be adding any more until later in the week (and it'll be mostly old-school stuff, especially PS1).

We are slowly going through the collection we just purchased, and added a bunch of PS2/Xbox/Gamecube games today. Also "Vay" for Saturn, Steel Battalion (with huge controller) for Xbox, Donkey Kong 64 Special Edition console. Will add a bunch more Tue/Wed inc. NES/SNES/N64/Saturn/Dreamcast/Genesis & more.

Also dropped a bunch of prices on Wii/PS3/360 games (to match our online prices).

You may have already noticed... I mean, really, how could you not? We re-did the website! Hopefully it is a bit easier to find whatever you're looking for, loads quickly, etc. etc. but most importantly, there's a button for "Online Sales"!!! It is something I'm currently working on and plan to have up & running later this month. Getting the shopping cart software set up, cleaning the back room of the store, and prepping the online inventory is going to be a massive undertaking, but we feel that it's the next step in the evolution of Gamedeals (from best store in the Vancouver area to best store in the world). Lots of other changes coming soon as well including VIP cards, a new T-shirt design, season 2 of the Gamedeals webseries (filming later this month) as well as a few other things we're not talking about yet.

In other news, we added huge piles of games in the store this week (sorted through 8 bins/boxes of random trade-ins & re-surfaced hundreds of discs). Something for everyone in there including Lynx games, rare Atari games, new PS3 games, a Power Glove, a CDi console, a boxed TG16 console, huge stack of Genesis games, some boxed SNES stuff, 3DO games, and much much more (too much to remember).
