This Friday (November 27th) is Black Friday... primarily an American tradition... the biggest sale day of the year. Some Canadian retailers participate, and we are one of them.

20 November 09 - 17:20Gen Mobile & new plushies in stock.
The Gen Mobile (new handheld Sega Genesis licenced with built in games & cart slot) is finally in stock. I know there have been similar items available for a few months, but having played them all at E3, trust me this one is better (and was worth the wait for us).
Lots of new PS3/360 games in this week, as well as a Jaguar+CD, 3DO, NeoGeo Pocket, a Steel Battalion (complete WITH foot pedals), and some other random nice stuff.

- Still looking to raise some cash, so any dealers that want to buy up a large amount of overstock please contact me, otherwise while technically we're not having a sale... anyone that wants to spend $500+ on games/etc. can expect that I will cut them a good deal (assuming it's not all of our best stuff).
- We want to do something EPIC this year for "Child's Play Charity" (www.childsplaycharity.com) in support of BC Children's Hospital, any suggestions for a promotion/event/etc.?
- Our sympathy goes out to the huge number of local EA employees that are about to lose their job right before X-mas. If there's anything we can do, let us know, we wish you luck in finding work in other local studios... in the meantime if you need any games, show us your pink-slip and we'll happily cut you a deal.
- Added some random stuff to the online store yesterday.
- Those Genesis handhelds are finally on their way, they're better than the ones currently available and we're only getting a few of them for now (but will order more later).
04 November 09 - 22:59Huge sale at Gamedeals, Thursday only!!!
The Gamedeals Party Van is on it's deathbed, and Brian needs new wheels, fast. So tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 5th) is BIG SALE DAY!!!
EVERYTHING is on sale, no reasonable offer refused, come early, bring cash. We will be open extended hours (9am-9pm) Thursday only for your convenience. Dealers welcome, in-store only (but items on the online store are available as well, but must be purchased in store). There's a ton of good games in the store right now, I don't want to sell them even cheaper than they already are, but I also don't want to walk to the store all winter, so my loss is your gain. If you can't take advantage of the sale yourself, please at least tell other people as I need to raise as much as possible in one day, thanks.
